There is no way to delegate the resolution of the current political crisis entirely to an institution. Like a recursive function call it's been passed down through the layers till it finally landed with the voters. The buck stops with unpredictable public mass.

Twitter outage seems resolved
Tweets failed to post and wound up in unsent drafts. Notifications also failed to tag. The main account remained accessible (I could edit the profile) but the related tweet and notification tables could not be updated.
Seems ok now. Reasonable to conjecture that the tweets were saving to draft because a transaction was failing. Watching that was a strong clue that a tech issue was responsible.
